Painesville, OH – October 1, 2005 – Many times, in the event of a tragedy, the
last question on one’s mind is who to call to when a crime has occurred within a
home or business. Bio Safe North America, a leader in prompt and discreet crime
scene cleaning companies in Ohio, is attempting to aid victims by establishing a
referral network for the State of Ohio. This referral page may aid in directing
the families of victims in establishing help for their region.
Led by James Venaleck and Steve Payne, the company is Ohio’s first company to be
certified in crime restoration services. Mr. Venaleck and Mr. Payne have over 35
years of experience in the law enforcement profession and are both certified as
Ohio Peace Officer Training Council instructors. The company provides its
clients with detailed written reports and submits claims on behalf of its
clients to their insurance companies. Availability and rapid response make this
service unique.
According to Mr. Venaleck, "The question I get most often is,’ Why did you get
into this line of business?' As a law enforcement officer, I have seen how
families may be traumatized by the effect of such an event. Many times, they
are traumatized a second time in dealing with the remediation. This service
allows us to take a huge burden off of their shoulders. It is to relief them of
this stress. Over the years, it has been my experience that many of the family
members of the victims experience confusion over who to call after such events
occur. I felt that by establishing a mutually beneficial network, it would
increase the response time and allow the families of the victims to know exactly
who to call in times of such occurrences,"
Currently, Mr. Venaleck and Mr. Payne are traveling to many law enforcement
agencies to conduct seminars on the traumas involved to the victims of crimes.
The goal is to not only educate those who maybe first responders, but also to
develop a network within the state to respond to crime scene traumas as swiftly
as possible.
According to
Mr. Payne, “I believe that it is simply a matter of educating the public about
the services that are available to them. Many of our clients did not even know
that we existed until such a trauma takes place. Our informational seminars are
two fold: To acknowledge others of our presence and to establish a network that
will be promoted throughout Ohio.”
Additionally, Mr. Venaleck and Mr. Payne are members of the Lake County Weapons
of Mass Destruction Technical Support Team and hold certifications or training
in crime scene decontamination & bio hazardous waste removal; blood borne
pathogens & Trauma Scene Management; forensic epidemiology, and advanced topics
on medical defense against biological and chemical agents. Moreover,
Mr. Payne holds training in Methamphetamine lab precaution and has attended the
FBI sponsored training in Weapons of Mass Destruction Nuclear Biological and
Chemical weapons.
Accessibility is a unique and important aspect of Bio Safe North America’s
services. Each client is treated with care and compassion rivaled by no other
company.
