BIO SAFE NORTH AMERICA PRESIDENT ATTENDS AVIAN INFLUENZA SEMINAR

Secures preparedness procedures in the event of an epidemic

 

 

 

        REYNOLDSBURG, OH—On April 11, 2006, the president of Bio Safe North America, James J. Venaleck attended a training

 

        seminar to ascertain procedures for euthanasia and disposal training in the event Ohio would experience a catastrophic

   

        poultry disease. The training was sponsored by the Ohio Department of Agriculture in cooperation with United States

 

        Department of Agriculture: Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service: Veterinary Services (USDA APHIS VS) and the

 

        Universities of Delaware and Maryland. The information obtained will be utilized not only for the preparedness in the event

 

        the Avian Influenza reaches epidemic proportions and Bio Safe North America is requested to lend assistance, but

 

        also to be able to relay information to the public & private sectors through Bio Safe North America’s own training seminars.
